Warren Horn

A founding member of the Firm, Warren is well recognized as an experienced and accomplished civil litigator and trial lawyer, as evidenced by his selection by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in four categories: Commercial Litigation, Insurance Law, Litigation – Insurance and Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants.  Warren was named the Best Lawyers’ 2014-15 New Orleans Insurance Law “Lawyer of the Year” an honour bestowed on only one lawyer in each practice area in each community. He has broad experience in both commercial and casualty cases. For several years, he served as National Trial Counsel for an international manufacturer and member of the Fortune 500 List of Companies trying product liability cases around the country. Warren has also acted as regional counsel for several insurance and manufacturing clients, and has defended health, casualty, and disability insurers, product manufacturers, lending institutions, trucking businesses, automobile manufacturers and dealerships, the propane industry, all participants in the construction industry, patent and intellectual property rights, legal and accounting professionals, and members of the gaming industry.

He has tried to a verdict numerous cases in Federal and State courts involving product liability, contract and warranty disputes, construction defects, labor and employment issues, disability and health claims, fire origin and cause, economic loss, accidental death, workers’ compensation and insurance bad faith allegations. Warren has been involved as lead counsel for his clients in several high-profile, multi-district and national class action cases involving automobile product liability, insurance practice and securities claims, asbestos exposure claims and Chinese drywall. He has also handled class action cases involving toxic tort, second hand smoke, lending practices and insurance coverage allegations. Warren has also tried adversary actions and contested plan confirmations in some of the nation’s largest bankruptcy proceedings.
